Introduction Russ Michael awakened the masses to “THE SECRET” as he traveled the United States during the 1970’s. “The Secret” at that time was known as “The MYSTERIES,” or the “Ancient Arcane Doctrines” which are known today as simply, “The Secret.” The Secret Doctrine was the topic of Russ Michael’s ten years of constant cross-country lectures in the 1970’s, his prolific list of published books, and his over 500 talk-show guest appearances. In 1975 Russ Michael moved to Washington. D.C., where he hosted and presented his own Warner TV weekly Television Show called, “THE MYSTERIES.” Homeless, Living in Poverty In writing his books, Russ Michael shares his life personal experiences. He was at a very low point in 1965 when he found himself homeless, barely eking out a daily existence and living in abject poverty. He was despondent, losing his health, unhappy - and above all, he says he was really missing the joy of a “special love” in his life. |

Everything Changed Russ Michael says that everything changed for him when he met Jerry H., who introduced him to “The Secret.” (Jerry H. is a well-known figure in “The Secret” circles. Jerry had not yet met his beautiful life-long soulmate, Esther, at that time.)
